Where to today?
I've loved running for a number of years - in fact since my good friend Suz took me on my first run in early 2006. Between 2006 and 2013 I was rather addicted, often running 4-5 times per week. I was particuarly keen on longer runs, usually 15-24km. These runs took between 70 and 120 minutes, some with a running group and some by myself.
There is something beautiful that happens on a long run. The rhythmic process of throwing one foot in front of the other, step after step, becomes quite meditative. I found at about the 14km mark, my mind was tired enough that it would stop its incesant chatter and a beautiful, serene and peaceful space would ensue.
A few years ago I decided to create a run tracking app, to allow me to remember and relive the wonderful memories my runs have created. Voila!
